I absolutely recommend you to stop what you are doing and go watch City of God NOW.
To sum up this amazing, graphic, moving movie, City of God is the slums outside of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The main character Rocket lives a life that none of us can relate to. He tells the story of City of God and all its faults. Two rival gangs start a war over something that people forget what it was even about after a year of fighting with stolen guns and guns bought by dirty cops. Drugs, sex, and violence. Isn't that what everyone is interested in? Why not add some corrupt government and some children driven to insanity?
